Underground Railroad Trail

Rosenwald River Center
Our Mission
Roanoke River Partners, Inc. was formed to support on-going efforts to develop and promote responsible nature and heritage tourism throughout our beautiful six-county region which borders the Roanoke River from our Virginia border to the Albemarle Sound.
Join the Movement
The Roanoke River region has joined forces with Outdoor NC to inspire stewardship in the area’s outdoor spaces. Together, they’re protecting nature and cultural heritage through Leave No Trace principles—inviting all to explore, enjoy, and help preserve the wild and storied trails along the great river.
