The site was named Cypress Cathedral because of the majestic cypresses that line the entrance to this peaceful resting place. The 28 x 16-foot camping platform rises above giant cane and lets visitors enjoy another of the Roanoke River Basin habitats.

Description

Cypress Cathedral is located on Three Sisters off Broad Creek between Jamesville and Plymouth. The site was named Cypress Cathedral because of the majestic cypresses that line the entrance to this peaceful resting place. The 28 x 16-foot camping platform rises above giant cane and lets visitors enjoy another of the Roanoke River Basin habitats.  The landing measures 74″ x 125″.  There is a wooden enclosure on the 24″ wide walkway that can be used for privacy with an entrance opening measuring 17″ wide.  There are no facilities; bring your own. Please follow Leave No Trace guidelines.
