Description
A 28′ x 16′ platform located on the left side, only 80 feet from Beaver Lodge. It is joined to it by a walkway with a bridge now available to campers either in combination with Beaver Lodge or on its own. Beaver Tail doubles the capacity of this location, helping us better serve scouting, student, research and other groups. (Groups, see Tillery, too!) The walkway to the platform measures 26 inches in width with two steps up to a landing and then another 12″ high step to the platform. There is a wooden enclosure in the corner of the platform that can be used for privacy with a door opening measuring 28 inches wide. There are no facilities; bring your own. Please follow Leave No Trace guidelines.
