Description
Where Broad Creek (off the Roanoke) branches into three small, sister creeks, you’ll find the path to this tranquil 28′ x 16′ camping spot. Follow “the middle sister” and look for the tall, young cypress standing sentinel at the dock. There is a small landing at the base of the platform that measures 70″ x 100″. The walkway to the platform measures 24 inches in width. There is a wooden enclosure on the walkway that can be used for privacy with an entrance opening of 21 inches wide . There are no facilities; bring your own. A 4 ft long picnic table has been added to the main platform. Please follow Leave No Trace guidelines. This site can not be reached by vehicle but only by boat.
