Roanoke
River Partners’
Paddle Days 2013!
Sunday, April 14, 2013
Registration
begins at 7am
Come
see the newly renovated Moratoc Park (102 River
Road, Williamston NC) including brand new
canoe/kayak access ramp and enjoy one of two routes
along the beautiful Roanoke River. One route will
stop at Conine Platform and then cut through Conine
Creek (same route as 2011) and the other route will
be a shorter, more leisurely trip down the river
(requiring transportation to a point upriver). Both
groups will register at Moratoc Park and enjoy
coffee and a light breakfast. Following a short
welcome and inter-denominational devotion, Conine
paddlers will leave. Scenic paddlers will then be
transferred to their starting point. All paddlers
will end up at Moratoc Park for a large lunch and
music on the deck. Come join us!
